Mineral Cartridge Sanitation

Green Smart will provide you with a mineral cartridge that is sized for your pool, based on the gallons of your pool. You will simply place this cartridge in your skimmer basket,  or pump strainer at the start of each season to let the minerals displace into your pool water.

Natural Non-Chemical Oxidation

Green Smart’s non-chemical method of oxidation is what separates it from other chemical reducing water purification systems on the market. The system should be turned on anytime your pump is running; preferably a minimum of 8 hours each day. Oxidation is achieved by sending low voltage electrical current through the titanium plates in the electrode chamber while water passes through the chamber. This low voltage electrical current separates the water molecules and forms oxygen radicals. The process creates a combination of the most powerful oxidizers available for water disinfection. The oxidizers then bond with contaminants in the pool such as the dead organic matter that was killed by the copper ions and other contaminants such as body oils and suntan oils in such a way that they may be filtered out of the water by your pool’s filtration system.

Note: The system produces oxidizers, measured in grams per minute, at a level that is not available with other oxidation systems such as ozone generating systems. Additionally, each oxidizer is more powerful than sodium hypochlorite, the dominant form of chlorine.
